Our 6-Step Design Process

At OnNet, we take a systematic approach to understanding your business goals and delivering a website that fits your vision. We help you clarify your objectives and work with you to develop a web presence that will start generating results from day one.

Step One

During our initial consultation, we will focus on how your website fits into your overall marketing and advertising. We'll discuss your goals and the specific things you would like your website to accomplish. We'll help you clarify your "call to action" and look at things from your visitor's perspective. We will discuss your industry as a whole, your specific products and services, what makes your business unique and your core business advantages.

Step Two

After the initial consultation, OnNet will perform a market research analysis in order to fully understand your market, your competition, and to create an Internet Marketing plan that works within your budget and business objectives. During this stage of the process, our designers will also begin drafting an initial home page design for your review.

Step Three

Once you have been presented with the initial creative draft of your website, we will meet to review the design and get your feedback. During this stage, we will finalize the home page, revising the look feel, content, or navigation until you are 100% satisfied with it. Once the home page and an example sub-page have been approved and "locked down," we will then begin the build out and conversion to CSS/XHTML.

Step Four

Our professional web designers build out your website by hand-coding the pages for W3C compliance and better search engine optimization, and then add any additional functionality, such as email marketing or CRM integration of your web forms. We then place it on our secure staging server for your review. We will the consult with you to make any final modifications prior to testing to ensure maximum site performance and usability.

Step Five

Our testing process ensures usability and a smooth site launch. This is where we determine how well visitors can navigate through your site and test the marketing tools to make sure they work as intended. Once testing on our side is complete, we will have you test the functionality and make changes as necessary in order to optimize your website prior to launch.

Step Six

Congratulations! Your website is now launched and visible to the public! To celebrate the launch of your site and help you get some initial traffic, we submit your site to all of the major search engines and also create a "site launch" press release for you at no additional charge and submit it to several online PR websites! If you've elected to implement an online marketing campaign, that begins right away.
